Why choose an original work of art rather than a mass-produced decoration?
Decorating or collecting: what's the difference?
In a world where mass-produced decor is ubiquitous, many people today are seeking more authenticity in their homes. An original work of art does more than simply beautify a space. It brings a story, an emotion, and a unique presence.

The emotional value of an original work of art
Unlike mass-produced decoration, which is endlessly repeated, an original painting is an intimate dialogue between the artist and the viewer. It invites contemplation, reflection, and often self-discovery. This emotional connection is precious. It transforms a space into a living, meaningful place.
For example, in my paintings, I explore color, texture, and inner landscapes through abstraction. Each canvas is an invitation to slow down, observe, and construct one's own interpretation. Each viewer's emotions, memories, and experiences then become an integral part of the artwork.
These works do not simply decorate a wall, they tell a story that evolves as the gaze of the person contemplating them changes.

The artistic richness of an original painting
Choosing an original artwork also means supporting a unique artistic approach. Behind each painting lie years of research, experimentation, and the development of a personal visual language.
Unlike mass-produced decorations, an original work bears the artist's imprint, their sensitivity, and their vision of the world. No gesture, no texture, no emotion can be reproduced exactly.
In my Voids series, this singularity is expressed through an exploration of presence, gaze, and interior spaces. Each work offers an experience open to the interpretation of the viewer.

The collector's eye
Each collection begins with an encounter. A work first attracts the eye, then it gradually reveals new emotions, new details and sometimes even new questions.
Abstract art possesses this unique ability to leave room for imagination and personal experience. Each collector thus builds a unique relationship with the artwork that accompanies them over time.
The emotion felt in front of a painting cannot always be explained. It is often this intimate resonance that guides the choice of an original work.
When a work of art finds its place in a collector's personal space, it begins a new story. The emotion that inspired its creation meets that of the person who receives it, and this presence continues to live on through the gaze, memories, and experience of each individual.
The artwork then becomes a living presence that accompanies, inspires and enriches the collector's personal space.

How to choose an original artwork that reflects your personality
Choosing an original work is not always a rational decision. Sometimes a color, a presence, or an emotion immediately catches the eye.
When this resonance occurs, the work ceases to be a simple object to contemplate. It becomes a presence capable of accompanying, inspiring, and enriching the personal space of the one who receives it.
It is this silent encounter between the artist, the work and the collector that gives full meaning to living art.
